UE announces collaboration with Helwan University

On Thursday 22 February, the University of Europe for Applied Sciences announced it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Helwan University (HU).
UE and the Egyptian-based university have entered into an agreement for the joint establishment and operation of double-degree programmes in the areas of business, information technology and art and design. This agreement aims to build on UE and HU’s mutual interests in delivering programmes of academic excellence and cultural diversity.
Professor Dr Maurits van Rooijen, President of UE and Chief Academic Officer at Global University Systems, said: “This collaboration opens the door to new opportunities in Egypt and the MENA region. By venturing into these countries, we see the potential to not only enrich our academic offerings but also contribute positively to the entire region.
“I am confident that, in this mutual exchange, there will be substantial learning experiences for both parties, fostering a dynamic environment for growth and innovation.”
