LCCA students showcase collection at Sea of White Shirts Exhibition

On Thursday 30 May, the London College of Contemporary Arts BA Fashion students showcased their work at the Sea of White Shirts Exhibition to the public at The Garage.
The Sea of White Shirts project, which was the largest Level 4 collection to date with over 30 pieces of work on display, combines an innovative design exploration unveiling cultural identities and diversity alongside creative cutting and construction skills, resulting in an immersive white shirt exhibition. Students exhibited their shirts alongside their toiles to highlight the creative process.
Shows like this are important for students to build their confidence in discussing and exhibiting their work and for creatives within the fashion industry to begin cultivating relationships with new designers and reminding themselves of the vitality of new voices within the industry.
