BSBI leaders honoured at international awards

Recently, the Berlin School of Business and Innovation announced that Professor Dr Kyriakos Kouveliotis, Provost and Chief Academic Officer at BSBI, received the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award, and Dr Farshad Badie, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Informatics, received the Research Excellence Award at the Excellence Awards 2024 presented by the Society for Intelligent Systems, India. 

The Lifetime Achievement Award celebrates Professor Dr Kyriakos Kouveliotis’ distinguished career spanning decades, characterised by an unwavering commitment to education, research and academic leadership.

Dr Farshad Badie's receipt of the Research Excellence Award underscores his significant contributions to Computer Science, Informatics, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. His innovative research endeavours have not only pushed the boundaries of knowledge but have also paved the way for groundbreaking developments in the industry.

These awards, celebrating excellence in academia and research, reaffirm BSBI’s dedication to fostering academic excellence and innovation globally. The recognition of Professor Dr Kyriakos Kouveliotis and Dr Farshad Badie among the recipients of the Excellence Awards 2024 highlights BSBI’s standing as a centre of intellectual rigour and scholarly distinction.
